My daughter has just returned from a shopping trip, which happened to include a new pair of Gladiator Sandals.
Firstly, to show how popular Glads are at the moment, everything was on sale, at a reduced price in Faith, except the Gladiator Sandals! So don’t expect too many discounts on them. If they are selling, then the shops will want to keep the prices stable.
Now my daughter is your typical teenager, so some of these comments contradict each other! She says that some were just too shiny, and drew too much attention to themselves. Others, conversely were just too dull! The best overall colours in her opinion were brown/bronze. Some felt odd to her - the higher reaching styles just didn’t feel right, she says, although that may be something you get used to. There was a “cheaters” pair. They had lots of the straps and buckles across the front, but these are just for show, with a cheeky zipper at the back! Nice idea!
